Time Warner Albany announces new channels

New channels that offer sports, kids' shows, new high-definition programming and lifestyle shows are all coming to Time Warner Cable in the new year. Three of the new channels are Free On Demand offerings for digital cable subscribers.
Fine Living on Demand (Free on Demand channel 1059)
Fine Living on Demand encompasses on demand programming dedicated to inspiring and empowering people to live better and get the most out of life. Fine Living's all-original programming encompasses five of the lifestyle categories people care about most -- Adventure, Personal Space, Favorite Things, Transport and Fine Living Every Day -- all on demand!
Sportskool on Demand (Free on Demand channel 1073)
Sportskool is the only on demand channel designed to deliver expert, in-depth sports instruction and coaching in a wide variety of sports and fitness activities, including tennis, yoga, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, softball, golf, skateboarding, triathalon/running and more.
Exercise TV on Demand (Free on Demand channel 1067)
Exercise TV is not your average fitness channel. Created by Jake "Body by Jake" Steinfeld, it features the next generation of fitness stars and the latest techniques and instruction. Categories like Quick Workouts, Dance, Pilates, Sculpt and Tone, Get Motivated and En Espanol.
Mag Rack Kids on Demand (content added to Kids on Demand, channel 1057)
Kids Club features a unique variety of children's programming for both parents and their kids, from infants to preschoolers. From the lovable characters of classic series to classic children's books brought to life with celebrity narrators, Kids Club offers hours of on demand programming to educate, entertain and more! Examples include: The New Zoon Renue, ebee's adventures, Scholastic and Nursery Rhymes.
NBC Universal HD (channel 1860)
A new member of the HD Tier, NBC Universal HD features HD programming coming from the entire NBC Universal empire. It shows feature films unedited and uninterrupted along with sports and entertainment programming. There is a free preview of NBC Universal for all our HDTV customers during the month of January, and the channel will have HD programming from the Olympic Winter Games in Italy next month.
Legislative Channel (channel 582)
This channel contains live and taped proceedings of the New York State Legislature.
WTEN 24-hour local weather (channel 554)
Albany's ABC affiliate offers continuous forecasts, weather data, maps, alerts, radar and more.
WMHT2 (channel 150)
Children's programming from PBS is back on digital cable channel 150. See children's shows from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays, 6 a.m. to noon Saturdays and 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sundays.
Sleuth (channel 444)
Formerly Trio, Sleuth is the premiere mystery and suspense channel.
