Hi everyone,
Last night while watching TV and getting creeped out about the Caller ID stuff showing up on screen without knowing about it beforehand, I noticed a local TWC Albany ad for NBA TV HD. They said the channel's on 1865. I typed in 1865 and nothing yet. Was this a case of TWC letting the cat out of the bag too soon or what?

Couldv'e been a local ad from another market... were you watching MSG? They get a lot of local (NYC) ads.

Well it can't be Time Warner in New York City because I was down there for Thanksgiving and the HD Tier is in the 700's channel range not the 1800's...the 1800's is up here...

Could it have been 1856 instead of 1865?
1856 = INHD2.
Similarly, there is a statement in my cable bill that arrived today that OLN's HD NHL broadcasts are on channel 1856.

Curiosly there is a statement in the bill that also states that TWC will drop channels 80 & 81 on Dec 10th in the standard tier to make room for the digital transition of our favorite channels...I wonder if this is the digital simulcast TWC has been working on...
