As of now YES-HD will only broadcast live games. I would think it will also include the pre-game as well. We'll see tonight! Can't wait to see The Big Unit in pinstripes. He's gonna look 10 feet tall! ;D Hankster: We speculated about YES HD nearly a year ago...and now it's a reality! I saw Randy throw 5 innings of 1 hit ball against the Braves last week in Tampa. He is a giant out there on the mound.

Very cool you got to see the boys in Tampa. The last time I seen them in spring training was in 85' when they practiced in Ft. Lauderdale. Weather in New York City calls for light showers tonight. Good thing Yankee Stadium has excellant drainage.

Excellent picture.
The YES HD logo in the bottom right corner is barely visable. I can see the top 25% of the logo. The bottom 75% is off the screen. Does anyone else notice this or is it my TV?

Must be my overscan.
I noticed a couple of SD shots during the game. Looked like the camera in the dugout was SD.

Notice how fast they would switch to an HD camera though. I agree with you, picture quality is top notch.
Nice catch by Tino!

Today, the YES HD logo is nearly 100% visible. The bottom of the logo is at the very bottom of my screen. Way to go Jeter! Walk-off HR in bottom of the 9th!

I noticed that YES HD is showing YES programming. Will TWC give us info or will it always say no data. Originallly didn't YES say only live games would be broadcast on YES HD?
I hope we sweep the Sox tomorrow!!!

Originallly didn't YES say only live games would be broadcast on YES HD? From the Albany TWC website: "Channel 1867 telecasts in HD only live baseball games and not other YES programming. YES, on cable channel 67, will continue to serve its non-HD customers all season." I suppose you could interpret this two ways: 1. Only live Yankees games will be shown on YES HD. 2. The only HD programming on YES HD will be live Yankee games. Given the facts that SD programming can now be seen on YES HD and last night's repeat of the afternoon game was in SD on YES HD, I'd have to guess #2.

I'm also not getting this game in HD. Maybe it's a technical problem on YES' end.

No HD for me, either. Why?

I called TWC.
They said they became aware of the problem 15 minutes ago and are unsure if it is from the source (YES HD) or TWC.
They are working on it and hope to have it resolved in 30 minutes.
