Each year it seems some channels pop on with the required price increase. I noticed a channel 103 today, in the kids block, which is some sort of kids game show channel it seems. No descriptions yet. Are there any other channels that have appeared? Or going to appear?

I'll have to assume you are asking about TWC. In the November TWC bill, it listed the Nickelodeon Games and Sports Network (GAS) as a new addition. The complete text included in the November bill can be seen here.

Thanks for the link. It's always a few channels. I was hoping for WB and UPN in HD, but maybe next year.

Our local WB affiliate, WEWB, is owned by Tribune. Tribune happens to agree with Freedom Communications (Owner s of WRGB CBS6) with regard to cable retransmision agreements. So I don't think we'll see a WB in HD on TWC anytime before we see a CBS in HD on TWC.
Our local UPN affiliate, WNYA, is owned by Venture Communications. They are not yet broadcasting in HD. Their OTA assignment for digital is rf51, which is the same channel as their analog assignment. Since both a digital and analog signal cannot be on 51 simultaniously, as it stands they would have to turn off analog in order to turn on digital. All that said, WNYA has applied to the FCC to instead be assigned rf4, which is being left vacant by WXXA (FOX) who was granted FCC permission to move to rf7. WABC out of NYC has initiated an appeal of that decision, so everything with both WXXA and WNYA is on hold until the FCC makes a decision on the appeal. Got all that? There is, however, no reason that WNYA couldn't offer a HD signal directly to TWC like WXXA does, but WNYA would need to start purchasing equipment to decode and encode an HD/DD5.1 signal. WNYA's limited cash flow makes this a very painful move at this time.

WXXA updated their website to reflect the additional delay in getting WXXA-DT on the air:

The Good Life TV cable channel (non- HD) was added by Time Warner in New York City as cable channel 153 but not here in the Capital Region.
What I wish TW would do is a voom like package for the HD Tier (HBO HD, Starz HD, etc...)

Yup I know about subscribing to HBO and getting HBO HD....what I was referring to is an HD only Tier that includes the HBO HD, Showtime HD, Starz HD etc...only HD... (the golden grail)
