ABC NEWS NOW ON TWC!!!

Scanning my channels this am and found that in addtion to wnythd and wnyt-analog/digital (or whatever you call it...) TWC is now broadcasting ABC NEWS NOW on Ch 1990!!! Looks like a "corrollary" arrangement/concession by TWC for Ch 10, similar to Ch 13's (eg. TWC is putting 13-2 on the system along with HD 13-1, so TWC must've decided to put ABC news now up since that's what ch 10 will multicast OTA)...certainly looks like the "local multi-casting issue/logjam" has been broken/settled...Ch 6 would seem to have nowhere to go in terms of negotiating position at this point. The WNYT/TWC agreement's gotta boost local HD TV sales!!!

I agree.

If TWC agreed to put both WNYT's and WTEN's sub-channel on their digital cable system, you would have to think a similar offer was or will be extended to WRGB.

It's time for WRGB to end their hold out.

ABC News has been moved from TWC channel 1990 to channel 1890.
