I contacted Albany TWC and inquired about the availability of FSN HD, but have not heard any news yet. Maybe one of the many TWC employees that lurk here could e-mail me with some information?

I received a mass-marketing e-mail from Albany TWC yesterday stating:
Is it possible that TWC is trying to make its' customers aware of the Digital Sports Tier before the availability of FSN HD? Only time will tell.
In addition, I received another e-mail from TWC that you all might be interested in, even though it does not pertain to HD:

$19.95 per month for three months
This discounted rate is being offered exclusively to a small group of people, including you. This offer is valid only for the original recipient and expires May 15, 2004.
Digital Phone service ...features unlimited calling, including all your local, in-state, and long distance calls in New York and the United States, includes Caller ID, Call Waiting, and Call Waiting ID at no additional charge, allows you to keep your same phone number, works with your existing telephones and jacks.
Digital Phone service will be offered to Time Warner Cable customers for as low as $39.95 per month, but as a friendly test participant you will receive our new residential telephone service for $19.95 per month, plus taxes and fees, for three months.
In return, we ask that you complete a series of four (4) online surveys that provide feedback on order handling, installation and quality of service. Your survey responses will be completely confidential and used to make improvements before we start offering Digital Phone service to Time Warner Cable customers throughout our region later this year.
What to expect during the test period:

How to order
If you are interested in being a participant, please log on to sign up online. If we determine that you meet the requirements for installation, please expect a call within a week or two. What happens after the test?
You will continue to receive Digital Phone service at the retail price of:
$39.95 per month (if you are a cable TV and high-speed Internet subscriber)
$44.95 per month (if you are a cable TV or high-speed Internet subscriber)
$49.95 per month (if you subscribe to basic cable TV only)
Important Notices
Digital Phone is not a powered service. Similar to a cordless phone, if you lose electricity, Digital Phone
equipment and related services and connections such as 911 and fax machines will not be available until power is restored. There is a possibility of periodic service outages. Although we don't expect these outages to be frequent or long in duration, we do want to make clear that temporary outages are a possibility during the test.
