Thanks for the info,
Great news.
It must have happened last night at 10PM, when my 8000HD mysteriously rebooted in the middle of a program I was watching.

Found this at Broadcast Engineering. However, I don't understand why they say it started on 3/1/04. We've had it OTA for a while now. I wonder if this had anything to do with the recent addition to TWC's lineup?
After looping by, PBS gets in the HD game
Starting March 1, the PBS will launch its new 24/7 PBS HD channel.[/i]
There’s good news for all of those public TV viewers with HDTV sets who are tired of watching that dreaded HD loop. Starting March 1, the Public Broadcasting Service will launch its new 24/7 PBS HD channel. It will be available initially on 50 local PBS member stations that have transitioned to digital television broadcasting, as well as through local digital cable systems that have agreed to retransmit the signal.
Headquartered in Alexandria, Va., PBS said there are currently 236 local PBS stations on-the-air with digital signals, reaching more than 85 percent of U.S. TV households. A station must be digital in order to pass through an HD signal.
The new channel is features a comprehensive mix of new and archived HD and widescreen versions of shows like “Nature”, “Nova”, “Great Performances”, “Masterpiece Theatre” and “American Family”. Each program will debut on stations’ analog channel first, then be upconverted and repeated during the following week on the new HD Channel.
The PBS HD channel joins a suite of PBS digital services, including PBS KIDS Channel and PBS YOU (“Your Own University”) and the VOD cable package, “PBS KIDS on Demand.”
