This evening, when I changed the Channel to 1867 (HDNet), A message displayed that said, "Not Authorized - To order HDN service on Channel 1867, please call (866)321-2225."
I called and spoke to a CS rep by the name of Joe at X-3297, who put me on hold while he talked to his supervisor. When he came back to the phone, he turned the channels back on and said he would credit my bill for the $3.95 monthly charge.
When I asked if they were going to rectify the situation for everyone or if each subscriber would have to call, he told me that each person would have to call in to have the channels turned on and a credit placed on their bill for the month of March.
I told him I didn't think that was right, because it was TWC that stated in their 2/2/04 email that it was free through March 31st. He said that as of right now, each subscriber would have to call in and complain.
Joe was very polite and tried to do what he could, but it sounded to me like he was being told what to say.

Apparently, TWC got the message from its' HDTV viewers and removed the blackout screens from HDN and HNDM sometime today.
Now, if they can only have WRGB in HD by the Sweet Sixteen!!!
