I emailed our local TW Albany regarding the supposed Tuning Resolver. This is what I got back: From what I have heard, Cablelabs is still testing the tuning resolver. Please refer to the following website for more information: www.cablelabs.com/ . When the devices become available, they may be provided by Tivo or Time Warner Cable. A valuable resource for getting the newest information about progress in delivery of the resolver is Multichannel News. There was an update published last month: www.multichannel.com/article/CA6530272.html. Please let us know if we can be of any additional assistance. Thank you for being a Time Warner Cable customer. I emailed them, too. Haven't heard anything in response yet. Here's the text from the email I sent yesterday:
Does Albany Time Warner Cable have plans to deploy the "tuning resolver" for TiVo users who have cable card enabled devices? The tuning resolver was approved by CableLabs and will allow TiVo users to receive the SDV channels. When will these devices be deployed? How much will it cost TWC subscribers, if anything? Your quick response is appreciated. Thanks.
