TW is apparently marking Family Guy (tonight's show anyway) as copy protected on the TivoHD.
I believe the FCC says that broadcast networks cannot have any copy flag set.
I'll have to check the rest of the stations.

Well, they're STILL setting shows on WXXA as copy protected.
They're also doing it to channel 13 WNYT right now with Law & Order, Criminal Intent.
I emailed them on 2/10/08 and STILL haven't heard a response.
I'm going to file a formal complaint with the FCC tomorrow.

I've verified that TW is illegally setting the CCI bit to 0x02 for the local broadcast channels: 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15
They called me back today and said they supposedly fixed it, but I just checked and it's NOT fixed.
I'm telling you they screwed up the whole thing when they rolled out the SDV. They have EVERY channel except the HD Locals as 0x02.
Which basically makes a TTG and MRV useless.

Well, they're STILL setting shows on WXXA as copy protected. I just checked and I am able to transfer the last two nights of American Idol (WXXA-FOX) from one TiVo to another. (Tues. and Weds. shows). Also, Friday nights episode of LAs Vegas (WNYT-NBC) will transfer. The TiVo in the Master BR was only displaying the local HD channels. The other channels were blank screens. I'm in the process of restarting the box. Maybe TWC sent a CC update?

Which stations are you checking? the HD locals or the analog ones?
From last night, WNYT (1813) is set to 0x02. ALL the analog locals are set to 0x02. But the HD WTEN (1810) and it looks like 1806 are NOT set to 0x02, but set to 0x00. I think the "update" they supposedly sent was to set all the local HD to 0x00 and they still haven't fixed the analog ones.
This morning I verified that all the analog locals were 0x02 (and they still are as of now).
The HD locals were also set to 0x02 this morning. But I haven't verified them yet.

Which stations are you checking? the HD locals or the analog ones? I only record/watch the HD channels. So, I recorded American Idol on 1808 and Las Vegas on 1806.

Last night the HD locals are properly set to 0x00 But in the morning, they were all set to 0x02
Analogs are still 0x02 as are all the other channels.

I wanted to find out what 0x00 and 0x02 meant, so I Googled it and found: The entire article is posted here.
