When I pressed the GUIDE button after a program I was watching on the DVR was over, I noticed that channel 951 was labeled, "MRDVR". When I tuned channel 951 in on my 8300HD DVR, the screen displayed the message, "To order MRDVR service on channel 951, please call (866)321-2225. So, I called the number and asked Michele at TWC customer service about the MRDVR service. She had no clue what I was talking about or what MRDVR service was. After she put me on hold and "checked with someone", she came back on the line and stated the service was not yet available. I told her that the message on the screen says to order the service, just call the phone number. I suggested she tune to channel 951 to see for herself. She put me on hold fro a minute and came back on the line. Michele stated the service is in the testing stages and is not yet available. I asked how much the service will be once it is available. Michele replied, "I don't know." I asked when the service will be available. Michele replied, "I don't know." So much for Customer Service!

What a bunch of ultra-maroons (as Bugs Bunny would say).
It should be free, given that Tivo and Replay TV (now owned by Tivo) have this for FREE. But I'm sure TW will manage to put a nice monthly fee on it (like they do for the phone service for voicemail, when virtually all other IP phone service has it for free).

I've had an MRDVR channel at my house for months now, never seen any mention of them offering the service. Don't remember if it was 951, and now i have CableCARD so I don't get anything anymore

Found this in the "timeline" section of the Albany TWC website: So which is it, it is available or isn't it?

Spoke to a TWC rep yesterday...said that TWC employees were currently testing the MR DVR. More in this thread.
