Are you still having your pictures from your 8300HD boxes cut off on the right side? It really bothers me, and I can't find a solution. Normal or stretch is cut off, no matter what channel I am on.

Not the right side, but I do have overscan. I think this is my HDTV.
I was at my brother's house in Philly last weekend. He has a 45" HDTV with a Comcast DVR. You can see the entire ESPN HD sidebars with "HD" written sideways on his TV.
On my TV, the "HD" is cut off on the left and right sides.
Eliab will adjust this during his calibration.

There's got to be a way to adjust this manually. Actually, my tv is still under warranty and this is pretty much a defect if you ask me. I wonder if I could call a tech and have it fixed for free? What does Eliab charge to fix this?

I don't think Eliab will come to your house just to fix overscan. It is part of the $400 calibration package. Here's a link: www.avical.com/Services.RPTV.htmYou can email him at info@avical.com with any questions.

Wow, yeah that's pricey but I suppose if your tv is out of whack it's worth it.
