The last few nights my HDnet Movies channel freezes every 20 minutes. I noticed it once on HDnet. I receive my HD from TWC. These are the only two HD channels that I've seen do this. My STB is the 8300HD DVR.

I was under the impression that Time Warner and CBS had a nationwide deal in place to broadcast HD for every CBS network, and WRGB is holding out providing that? I agree. If you look over at the AVS Forum almost everybody has CBS-HD through TWC. I don't care who owns WRGB, they look ridiculous. How many other privately owned CBS stations aren't providing HD for cable subscribers?

You have to hand it to TWC. They have been slammin', first NBC now ESPN-HD at the last moment. I think WRGB (CBS) will be very soon.

Does the $120 include HBO HD, Showtime HD, and the two HDNets? I was wondering that too. I have 1 DVR, HBO-HD, SHO-HD, and the two HDnet's plus RR and my bill is $121. When we do get ESPN-HD I think I'm going to drop the Showtime package.

"Its too bad that 6 and 13 spent all that money to upgrade and about 6 people get to see this signal because these stations are just GREEDY."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Couldn't have said it better! I would love to know how many people actually got to see the Superbowl in HD. WRGB knows that if they gave TWC permission to broadcast their HD signal they would have reached many more viewers.

How many consumers do you think that buy HDTV's at say Circuit City, Best Buy or Tweeters actually want to fuss with an antenna to watch HD? Aiming the antenna to the proper towers, worrying about amplification, or over amping, needing a rotor. The list goes on, Joe Six Pack wants simple operation.
I bet that you are the only one out of 20 that take WRGB & WNYT's side. Is it because you are employed by one them?

I'd rather pay $3.95 than have an ugly antenna on my roof. The point of cable and satellitte TV was to get out of the antenna days.

"I don't see how lame programming repeated at nasua trumps the big networks. These stations are not laying down the bucks to get the big events... SuperBowl, Daytona500, MarchMadness, Masters, Olympics. After the first month the luster of Discovery, INHD and HDnet seems to have worn off for me." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HDnet has an agrement with the NHL for hockey fans. INHD has an agreement with MLB, 3 games per week.
