Over at the AVS Forum someone posted that on INHD's website is says local teams in your areas will be subject to blackout. I hope YES is going' to HD soon and that TWC will carry it.

Watched this last night after The Sopranos. A very dark gritty western, looks like it's going to be good. Picture quality was excellant.

The drawback for me is that they don't carry YES & my wife will miss having Food Network.

I use Universal's MX-500 in my system, they are great remote's. As dkennedy said, you can find very nice deals on these on Ebay.

Nice! I used to hate when road games were SD. We still have to deal with Fox 23 SD games on Friday nights though, those games look like hell.

Maybe we'll get ESPN2 HD now. I know, wishful thinking ;D

I was at the AVS Forum and it was reported that certain markets of Comcast just got ESPN2 HD so maybe TWC isn't far behind. Everyday when I get home from work I check this site or turn on my tv to see if its there. This forum is cool becuase it is local

Looks like HDNet is fixed on TWC. I haven't noticed any picture or sound drop-outs.

Hopefully we'll get this worked out. It's a shame we have to bypass TWC to get an answer, but, I'm not surprised at all. I do recall this happening before with HDNet & TWC. I'll have to look through old threads here but I do remember posting about this awhile back. Yep! I just went back to page 4 of this forum, HDTV Channel Lineup and on Nov 6, 2004, 11:02pm I posted the same problem we're experiencing.

It's been three days since my email to Mr. Taubkin regarding this issue and I've gotten no reply. I want to record Michael Mann's Thief tonight but why waste the time when HDNet isn't up to spec through TWC.
Found this on HDNet's website:
Quality Control, HDNet Movies: Gray Hoof email: ghoof@hd.net
Let us all send an email.

I just sent an email to Mr. Taubkin. This is not an issue were a tech has to come out if we are all having problems with these two channels.
dkennedy, that is why I hate calling TWC sometimes.

I might send an e-mail or give TWC a call. This has been going on for 2 weeks.

I have been noticing that HDnet & HDnet Movies are having problems with the picture freezing and sound stopping about every 10-20min. Has anyone noticed. I'm watching U2 Vertigo Tour and have had the picture freeze 4 times. Is this a local TWC problem?
