Albany TWC announced on November 30, 2008 they would have Big Ten HD starting December 30, 2008 on channel 1878. That didn't happen. On December 18, 2009 Albany TWC did announce that they were in "negotiations" with these channels: Bravo HD, CBS CollegeSports HD, Fox News HD, Fuse HD, MSG Plus HD, MSNBC HD, NBA TV HD, USA HD, Encore HD, MLB Network
On January 16, 2009, Albany TWC announced they were planning to add the following channels (no date): USA HD, Sci-Fi HD, Bravo HD, CNBC HD
FYI: SciFi HD, CNBC HD, and USA HD were added to the Rochester TWC lineup on January 27, 2009. Maybe they will be heading our way soon?

From Pete Dougherty's column on the Times Union's site Friday: The timeframe keeps getting pushed back. Link

I'm getting guide data on my TiVo for the Big Ten channel on ch 878. It actually tried to record a program because I have a wishlist setup for Syracuse Basketball and they were showing the 1987 NCAA Championship game SU vs. Indiana.

midwestern college sports, soccer, hunting, and the history channel in spanish, none of which are even in HD.. I got this email this morning too and it was quite a disappointment for me, especially seeing all the channels other TWC customers are getting in other parts of the country (where there is probably actual competition)
