Recently we got an HD Set for the bedroom, which tunes in some digital HD channels over the cable without my HD cable box on the downstairs main set. Channels show up on the tuner like 18.6, 18.13 etc. Anyway, we had a channel on 114.6 , and after a couple of weeks it disappeared. I checked the TW web site, and all they had were listings for the channels on thru the box. None of these digital channels are listed. Anyone know where 114.6 went and where I could find a local listing of what channels there should be? Thanks

What channel was it? Might try to run the digital auto-program feature of the tuner again. cable moves channels around alot from what I read and with our timewarner getting ready for new hd stuff they are prob grooming their signals.
My tv picks up the HD feeds on 2 channels each; 1 on a channel with a decimal like you mention and the other on the 1800# I regularly use the 1800# channels but I have looked occasionally on the other channels and noticed they change sometimes .
Is the tuner in your tv a atsc and qam compatible digital tuner? If not qam maybe thats why it can't tune the 1800#?
Best of luck

114.6 was Toon Disney/Jetix. That and NBA-TV, recently on 112-11, were about the longest-running freebies on TWC (i.e. not encrypted, and not broadcast, government, ad or tutorial). TWC may have encrypted or moved them; Toon Disney used to be on 109-6. These things come and go. A&E-HD was unencrypted for a few days when it started, long enough for me to see that it should be renamed "CSI: Miami-HD (maybe)." When I got my first HD tuner in early 2004, they had quite a few unencrypted channels, including HBO-HD. That didn't last long.
I wish digital tuners had a scan feature to find what's new without disturbing a previously saved scan.

Thanks. That's probably what happened. Got blocked or encrypted. The only reason I asked is I didn't want to go thru the longish channel tuning thing again.
