I have TW Cable HDTV downstairs but I did not wish to rent yet another cable box (Have two DVRs now!) so I picked up a Sanyo HDTV with built in tuner from Walmart and a cheap Mant410 Indoor VHF/UHF/FM/HDTV Antenna.
Problem is I am not getting any channels. I got WMHT to be "discovered" by the set but not well enough to actually display without breaking up.
So anyone out this far and getting OTA HDTV? I am hoping its my cheapo antenna...

Did you try entering your info at antennaweb.org? It will tell you the recommended type of antenna for your exact location.

Thanks for the link. BAH I need a Medium Directional Antenna with pre-amp. I was hoping to avoid having to use an outdoor antenna.

Yes, an indoor antenna in poestenkill does not sound good at all. I would highly recommend ANY outdoor antenna over ANY indoor antenna in almost any situation.
In fact, I think selling indoor antennas (for HDTV) in the first place just leads viewers into getting frustrated with reception problems. Indoor antennas are a good choice for someone on one of the top floors of a high-rise in the metro area, but that's about it. Even an outdoor antenna lying on your floor will usually be better!
