I sent whskytngofx a PM with my address, which is in the western part of Guilderland, north of Western Ave, off Carmen Road.
He said that I can't currently receive FioS because my address is served from the "central office" off Curry Road, which is in the Town of Rotterdam.
My mailing address is Schenectady 12303, but I'm in the Town of Guilderland.
It will probably be years until Verizon makes FioS available at my address.

After a month of FiOS TV being available in Bethlehem, about 1200 people (internal TWC sales figures) have switched from Time Warner Cable to FiOS. That sounds like a small number, but there are about 13,000 households in Bethlehem ( US Census data). Verizon is at about 65% coverage, so that would knock the numbers down to a wildly inaccurate 8450 households that could get FiOS. Assuming that TWC had 100% of those households (ignoring Satellite and people who have no cable), they lost about 14% of their customers in a month. The percentages are guesses, but I was told that the 1200 number of households that switched is accurate. You can spin that any way you want, but that's a loss of over $100k a month. From a serivec that has only been available since March 25th. If you are in Bethlehem and are still on TWC, now would be a good time to renegotiate your monthly bill.

I have a Schenectady 12304 address, but actually live in Colonie, and on Saturday there was a TWC account rep going door to door in my neighborhood trying to sell people more services and put in some face time. He was very friendly, but I was not signing up for something that locked me into a contract. I've never seen the TWC reps going door to door before. I was thinking this had to be a result of impending fios availability, trying to butter people up, and lock them in.

Hello, I am from the 12304 area and have been checking this and looking around for quite some time. I recently found the next PSC listing and Verizon is on the list. www3.dps.state.ny.us/pscweb/WebFileRoom.nsf/ArticlesByCategory/2C602EB9D75BD5F98525788F0069E0D2/$File/pr11037.pdf?OpenElementPage 8 - 564 I do not know if this is for the tv service even though it does say PSC Amendment - Communications. I am curious if they get approved for TV Fios will it also automatically be approved for FIOS Internet? I am more interested in the internet then the TV Service, Even though my parents are more interested in the tv service haha.

I think you'll have to escalate the ordering process above the sales agents that take orders over the phone. They'll just use the same web page to validate your address and say it's not available. I've had good luck with support over Twitter. Follow @verizonsupport and @vzfiosny and then contact @verizonsupport. They should know who you would need to contact.
