I like how he made sure to throw the word "planned" in there. While it would be nice to have it in HD now, I'll be happy if it's added before the season, when they start airing games and (I assume) highlights in HD.

No reason to think it will cost anything with digital cable since the sd channel is included with digital cable.

It's working for me. Of course the TiVo still thinks it's the Tennis Channel.....

On the one hand, wohoo, I really wanted this in time for the WBC. On the other hand, I was hoping the next ad would include the NBCU stations.

Channel 1868 doesn't even show up TWC listings on their own web site. I wonder how long it takes to get that updated.

They usually send out an email 2-3 days after the channel appears. They will probably update the website at that time, too.

Happy to see this channel finally got added. Tuned in yesterday afternoon to see the Nationals/Orioles game in classic 4:3 SD. Not sure if I liked the "brick wall" side bars. I know it was only a spring training game, but you'd think MLB would force teams to put out an HD feed for every game. What are those teams doing with all that revenue sharing & luxury tax money they get from the Yankees?!? =)
But the set on this 30/30 show looks good. Hazel Mae looks sweet, and all the clips I've seen so far are HD. I'll check on the A's/Padres game at 3:00 today and see what they've got.
