YES Adds 34 High Definition Away Games

The YES Network will expand the number of New York Yankees games it airs in high definition this season, by adding 34 away games.
Similar to last year, the Yankees Entertainment and Sports network will televise all 61 of the home games it carries in high definition. Another 22 away telecasts this season will be presented in "enhanced definition," which involves a process of the network up-converting its standard definition telecast to provide better audio and video quality than tradition analog telecasts.
The high-definition away telecasts begin May 1 when the Yankees begin a road series with the Boston Red Sox.
