When is time warner going to add any new hdtv channels, it has been awhile ? When they have a competitor other than satellite. They just shifted some of the music channels around two days ago, and that would have been the time to add new HD channels.

It is pretty amazing there isn't a mutiny afoot in these boards! I noticed no one had posted in a while so I decided to look back and see when the last time new HD channels were added.
MLBHD was the last one to be added and that was way back in the beginning of March. Before that, ONEHD was added in mid December!
It is pretty remarkable that they haven't added any new content. I wonder if they have run out of space. With the legal notices saying they are going to be adding those new HD channels for months it is all kind of strange.

TWC seems to be going backwards...getting rid of HD channels (HDNet and HDNet Movies) instead of adding them...as for me and maybe alot of others on this forum...we are calmly awaiting Verizon Fios TV....any type of competition to light the fire under TWC...
FYI:...calmly maybe too passive of a word...

This morning on channel 1 it stated that coming soon will be RFD TV channel and the Smithsonian channel? Those are the channels that are going to be added to the HD Tier when Time Warner drops HDNet and HDNet Movies at the end of the month. Does anyone really want to see Don Imus in HD?

RFD TV sounds familiar...way back when I had Dish it was one of the many free public (fill-in) channels...it had alot of farming information, old Ford 8n tractor reviews, rural info, etc....

Changes made today (5/28):
HDNet and HDNet Movies dropped. The following channels added (all HD Tier and, I assume, SDV): 1855: Smithsonian HD 1857: RFD-TV HD (which is currently airing Hee Haw, as I type this - what a joke) 1858: MavTv HD

When did we get Smithsonian HD on demand 1854? Sometime between May 28th and June 26th? Just check TWC website for all the details...not! It is considered part of the HD Tier. I just cancelled the HD Tier a few days ago becuase TWC dropped the HD Net channels.
