Best bet would be to call Verizon Fios line and have them put in a ticket so you can talk to their engineering department. Even better would be skip the ticket and get their engineering number from them because that department doesn't like to call people back.
I live in the 12304 area in Schenectady and it took me two weeks and 3 phone calls to finally get my FIO's scheduled for set up. You can tell where the fios is located, I know all of Balltown Road has it. when you look on the telephone poles the Fios lines are the super thick wires on the very bottom and at each pole you would see a round thick end and on the pole you should see either a small Green, Black, or grey box. even going down state street you can see it. If you see any of this close to your house, you probably can get it just have to go through tedious customer service trying to tell you other wise.

So apparently, Verizon has been telling me that Fios isn't in my area for past two weeks. I finally figured to try my neighbors house which is on a main road. ( my house is only house on the street). what you know fios is available. Now i just need to figure out how to get it. the pole is about 30 yards from my house

Hello, I am from the 12304 area and have been checking this and looking around for quite some time. I recently found the next PSC listing and Verizon is on the list. www3.dps.state.ny.us/pscweb/WebFileRoom.nsf/ArticlesByCategory/2C602EB9D75BD5F98525788F0069E0D2/$File/pr11037.pdf?OpenElementPage 8 - 564 I do not know if this is for the tv service even though it does say PSC Amendment - Communications. I am curious if they get approved for TV Fios will it also automatically be approved for FIOS Internet? I am more interested in the internet then the TV Service, Even though my parents are more interested in the tv service haha.
